So....
Apparently, I checked out of reality for like 8 months ish.  LOL  Sorry, folks.  I started a new job this year that I adore but that keeps me super busy and away from the drawing table.  Well, my drawing table is actually a big table upon which my vintage lamp and computer sit.  It also houses a plethora of crap as well- nail polish, paint, stickers, perfume, sticky roller for cat hair, work notes, liquid bandaid and more!

Since Last We Were Together....
Pride in the Park in my hometown of Thunder Bay, ON was a great success.  I spent all of my winter months last year working and finishing a sizable collection for Pride 2016.

Many are still available....

This Holiday Season...
This year I am enjoying the life of a craft attendee rather than vendor.  I have spent the last 6+ years hauling my wares around town and I gotta say, I love being able to stand on the other side of the table for a season.  Not a whole season though- I will have a table at this years Ladies' Gala at the Wayland as I have most years since this awesome event started.

The Interim Period=The Void....
I have started trying my hand at drawing again the last 8 months or so and since, thru my BFF, I have met so many interesting weirdos, I figured fan art was an appropriate outlet to start with,  Loud and Obnoxious (since dissolved) and New Trick Podcast were among some of the fangirl fan art projects currently in my sketchbook.

Perhaps not an exact representation but what would the fun in that be?

Until Next Time...
I'm straight up just going to stop attempting to promise to be here more; my new job that I love doesn't allow for anything commitment based re: my wee site of blogger proportions.  But thanks for stopping in, none-the-less.

Cheers!

Spring?....
Well, lately, with all of the snow, it is certainly hard to believe that it is Spring here but we are well on our way to Summer and that is all I care about.  My latest artistic endeavor was donating my time and thus, artwork to EcoSuperior's Rain Barrel auction.  Each year, artists have an opportunity to enter a contest (only top selling item gets a prize) to paint a rain barrel at the Annual Spring Home and Garden Show here in TBay.  This year I participated and so did my pal Ashley!  Both of our masterpieces are pictured below!

Thus Far...
There are no dates in stone for upcoming shows!  As always I have work at North Shore Therapeutic Massage Clinic, Bliss Cafe, Ahnisnabae Art Gallery, Thunder Games and Gifts and for private sale (contact me at ART by: Cat Free on Facebook).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!...
One resolution?  To be better at posting here!  The holiday season was low key for me this year; I didn't participate in any shows and instead took on some small commissions (pictured below).  This upcoming year though, I am hoping to get back into the swing of things and take on every show I possibly can.

Additionally, I also worked on a project that some friends were working on; I did the lettering, outlining and embellishing, someone else did the cutting, sanding and Grinch hat.  Here are some progress shots and the final product:

Finally, the Minions were made by someone else but I did the name signs and lettering:
